Implementation Guide

To configure FAST Cache on the storage pool for this solution, complete the following

steps in Unisphere:

1. To view FAST Cache information for the VNX array:

a. In Unisphere, click Properties and select Manage Cache.

b. In the Storage System Properties dialog box, shown in Figure 8, click

FAST Cache to view FAST Cache information.

2. To create FAST Cache:

a. Click Create to open the Create FAST Cache dialog box.

b. Select the required number of disks to be used for FAST Cache.
