Software Configuration

The VDI software components at TRWD consist of a single VMware vCenter environment, redundant

VMware View Connection Servers, eight VMware vSphere servers, a single Unidesk Management Virtual

Appliance, and nine Unidesk CachePoint Virtual Appliances.

Desktop Provisioning

Desktop configurations were mapped to Unidesk Desktop Templates, enabling knowledge worker

desktops to be quickly provisioned from the same Microsoft Windows 7 gold image and different

combinations of applications.
